2020

Silvia is 23 years old is currently coming close to the completion of her post secondary degree at Instituto Superior Tecnologico Privado Khipu. Throughout her education her scholarship has helped support her educations costs, allowing her to focus more of my energy towards
her studies and volunteer work within her community.
Throughout her degree she has worked hard to balance her studies, work, and time spent with her community. In the future it is her goal to work hard as a professional in her field to help support her family and community, giving them better lives. During last December during Christmas she helped facilitate a chocolatada party in her community in cooperation with Mosqoy and volunteers. She currently volunteers on a regular basis with Mosqoy Peruvian textiles as a community meeting facilitator. In this role she facilitated meetings between Mosqoy and local Quechua communities helping to allow for effective communication. In the future she wishes to continue to work to support and create opportunities for her community both through her job and any volunteering she can do.
In her next term of school, she plans to complete her last few credits needed for her to graduate. By the end of the term in summer of 2020 she will have finished her degree in tourism and hospitality management. After she completes this she will begin her career. For the last few years she has worked in a hotel and she hopes with her degree new opportunities will become open for her to apply herself. One day in the future she wishes to open her own business and help support others in her community to get a good education as she has.
